3M Scotchlok TR-490 is a positive action ratchet tool that crimps insulated and non-insulated terminals and connectors (nylon or vinyl insulated, butted or brazed seam) on 22-10 AWG. It has hardened steel jaws, red plastic grip, and a corrosion-resistant finish for enhanced durability. Ratchet release lever allows removal of misplaced terminals. Calibration adjustment of ratchet can be accomplished in the field.
